Good to know

Can these tanks be used for water storage?

Only for non-potable water. Because the tanks are made from recycled polyethylene, never use them for drinking water. They are not designed to remain completely above ground when full and must be installed at least half-buried for water storage.

Are inlet and outlet holes pre-drilled?

No. Inlet and outlet holes are not pre-drilled because pipe sizes and placement vary by project. Have your contractor confirm the required diameter and location before cutting or installation.

Do you install or provide after-sales service?

No. Maple Drain supplies the tanks only. Installation, modifications, maintenance and after-sales service are not included.

Can I use one for my house septic system?

These products are intended mainly for small DIY projects and are not CSA B66 certified. For a house or regulated onsite sewage system, use a CSA B66-compliant product. Requirements vary by location and project, so consult your contractor or authorized wastewater professional before purchase.
